In 2008 Firetruck Bar-B-Que founder and owner Kenneth Ledbetter along with the help of his friends and family began working on a 1985 firetruck turning the truck into a large smoker grill. After 14 months the firetruck was a traveling bar-b-que smoker with TVs that would launch Firetruck Bar-B-Que, LLC.
With the great success, Firetruck Bar-B- Que expanded into catering, an on college campus restaurant and food trucks on Auburn Universtiy's campus. The demand of the products, Firetruck Bar-B-Que began distributing meats to grocery stores.
In the Summer of 2019, Firetruck Bar-B-Que launched an online product store to ship its one of a kind taste to people throughout the US.
