Heating Instructions for Meat by the Pound

Beef Brisket,  Half Slab of Ribs and Pulled Pork

If product is frozen, thaw in refrigerator for best results.

Boil:

1. Bring water to a boil in medium or larger boiler.

2. Place bag in boiling water for 15-25 minutes.

3. If meat is frozen, boil for 30-40 minutes.

4. Remove from boiling water with tongs, and cut bag open with scissors.

5. Heat product to 165°F.


Microwave Oven:

1. Cut 1 inch slit in center of meat bag.

2. Place on microwave safe plate.

3. Heat on high (at 100% power) for 2-3 minutes or until meat reaches 165° F.

*Microwave ovens vary in power, heating times are approximate.


Whole Meat Heating Instructions

Boston Butt

1. Thaw  meat 3-4 days

2. Preheat oven to 225° F-250° F.

3. Remove from plastic bag.

4. Wrap in foil, fat side up .

5. Bake 4-5 hours or until meat reaches 165° F

6. Take meat out of oven and let meat rest for 15-30 minutes for best results.


Whole Slab Ribs

1. Preheat oven to 250° F.

2. Remove from plastic bag.

3. Wrap in foil.

4. Place in oven fat side up

5. Bake 45 minutes to an hour or until meat reaches 165° F.


Pork Tenderloin

1. Preheat oven to 250° F.

2. Remove from plastic bag.

3. Wrap in foil.

4. Place in oven

5. Bake 20-30 minutes or until meat reaches 165° F.
